Jonathan Keller, MUP Urban Planning
Jonathan is a lifelong New Yorker with a background in city planning and sociology. He grew up on Roosevelt Island, works as a city planner in New York City and is raising a family in Astoria, Queens, NY. He seeks to help neighborhoods be places where people of all backgrounds and ages can seek prosperity and peace on safe, vibrant streets and where people can realistically and actively play a role in the reduction of climate changing carbon dioxide. He holds a Masters in Urban Planning from the Robert F. Wagner Graduate School of Public Service at NYU.
In his work and personal life, he has seen how our sustainable future will depend on the balance between providing for a growing humanity while caring for the environment and those that depend on it. Practically, this means reinventing our relationship to our planet and communities as we reassert the value of the natural word while maintaining the basis for human dignity.
